- We work only with aggregated marketing data hosted on your own cloud storage (e.g., Google Drive).
- No raw or personally identifiable information (PII) is collected, stored, or shared.
- We access data via temporary Google Colab sessions with your explicit permission.
- Sales and marketing data remain on your own cloud infrastructure.
- No copies or transfers of your data occur; no third-party systems are involved.
- All access is session-based and used only for research or trial collaborations.
- Explicit written permission will be requested for any additional access (e.g., model training).
- You can revoke access at any time via your cloud platform’s sharing settings.
- We use secure OAuth authentication. Mar-Sci does not store or reuse OAuth tokens.
2. Data Access and Storage
- All data remains in your cloud environment (e.g., Google Drive).
- Mar-Sci does not store, retain, or transfer any client data.
- All access is temporary, session-based, and purpose-limited.
3. Model Training and Data Sharing
- Any sharing for model training will be explicitly requested in writing.
- You retain full control and can reject any such request without consequence.
3.1 Open Source Software
We use the following open-source libraries in our modeling work:
- Media Mix Modeling: Meridian (Apache 2.0 License)
- Change-Point Detection: HierCPD, Apache Otava, TensorFlow Probability
- Causal Impact / Inference: Google’s CausalImpact, PyCausalImpact, DoWhy, EconML, gCastle, CausalAI
- Visualization & Exploration: Apache Superset, ArviZ
- Bayesian Hierarchical Models: PyMC, Bambi, CARBayes
All tools comply with GDPR and privacy laws by processing only aggregated, non-personal data.
4. Data Security
- All access uses secure, industry-standard OAuth authentication.
- We do not share information with third parties or external services.
- OAuth tokens are handled via client-side flows and not stored or reused.
5. Transparency and Control
- You control access to your data at all times.
- Access can be revoked through your cloud provider’s sharing settings.
- We will delete any temporary analysis artifacts on request and cease access immediately.
